Welcome to A Healing Community of Medicine Women

This is our 4th Annual Medicine Woman Retreat in Tulum Mexico October 10-15th, 2025.

 We encourage those who are at any stage of embracing their personal medicine, i.e. gifts, talents, skills, and expressing it to the world to join us for this year long journey.

 The Medicine Woman Experience is centered around our 6 day retreat experience delving into the beautiful and magical Mayan medicine that we are so honored to partake in.  This opportunity allows us to be fed as we go about giving our medicine to others.   Therefore, we have this beautiful energy exchange to witness throughout the year.  This experience also includes monthly coaching sessions that helps us to activate and integrate our medicine in alignment with our purpose and vision.

  • Rebirthing Water Therapy

    Janzu is often referred to as “rebirth therapy.” It taps into the therapeutic properties of water and uses the physical body as a portal to explore the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of self.

  • Guided Breathwork & Energy healing

    This practice helps us to break free from patterns that no longer serve us by releasing stagnant energy from our bodies so we create more space to connect spiritually.

  • Temazcal

    A temazcal is a traditional Mexican steam bath that is in many ways similar to the Native American sweat lodge. Besides promoting physical well-being and healing, the temazcal is also a ritual and spiritual practice in which traditional healing methods are used to encourage reflection and introspection. The temazcal is thought to represent the womb and people coming out of the bath are, in a symbolic sense, re-born.

  • Communal Healing

    This is a journey of healing with our sisters. We are not meant to do this work alone. There is so much power when we trust our fellow sisters to support us in our evolution.

  • Plant medicine

    We will be using herbal support to help us in connecting with our ancestors as we honor the medicinal plants that Mayan culture offers us.

  • body movement

    We always want to support the body in releasing outdated programming through intentional movement so we can receive new downloads from the spiritual realm.

Meet your host

Katherine Searcy, M.Div, LICSW, RMT

Let’s get the credentials out the way. I’m a licensed psychotherapist, spiritual guide, retreat facilitator and energetic healer. So, I have a ton of letters behind my name. I spent most of my fifteen-year career as a chaplain and social worker in health care, primarily hospice care journeying with those at the end of life. I am a certified Reiki Master Practitioner who has been offering energy healing services of over a decade. I have hosted over 20 retreats in the U.S. and abroad, specializing in intimate and transformative healing experiences for women.

I was literally born to do this! For my astrology enthusiast, I have my sun, moon, and mercury all in the 8th House of death, mental health, and shared resources. And because of this blueprint, I have been on a journey that has initiated me to do this work.

I specialize in grief work. I was introduced to her at the tender age of 5 with the death of my grandfather. Since then, I have witnessed many of my family members, childhood friends, beloved pets, and parts of myself transition to other planes.

See, I don’t like using the word loss even though we have been conditioned to think of death in this way. But we haven’t lost anything or anyone. They have transitioned to another plane that is just as real as this one.

And this is my approach to grief. A transpersonal, transdimensional, and transformative experience of witnessing grief as the healer she is.

Because grief is a heart opener, here to facilitate us in a journey to experience the spiritual realms with more confidence and trust.

  • The 4th Annual Medicine Woman Retreat will be October 10-15, 2025 in Tulum, Mexico.

  • We are utilizing a luxury villa with both private and shared rooms, private swimming pool and rooftop deck, outdoor tub and yoga studio. Our meals are provided for by a private executive chef and concierge services are included to meet your needs.

  • We have several tiers depending on room type:

    The Master Bedroom with outdoor tub is priced at $5500 USD.

    2 single rooms are priced at $5000 USD.

    2 shared rooms are priced at $4400 USD.

    We offer financing via Klarna and Affirm with payments as low as $165/month.

    For those who choose our payment plan, it will be a $555 deposit with monthly payments of $550. We will be offering this pricing until November 15th.

  • The retreat investment covers your airport transfers, accomodations, meals, excursions and practices. It does not include air travel or misc. costs incurred outside of the retreat experiece.

  • Yes, you will need a valid passport to travel to Mexico. Please ensure that your passport WILL NOT expire 6 months prior to travel.

  • The intention of this retreat is to deepen your practice of connecting and honoring your ancestors, also known as ancestral veneration. The medicine, or spiritual practices, that you will encounter will be:

  • You will be flying to Tulum International Airport (TQO).

  • We specialize in small retreat experiences as our goal is to create community with like spirited souls. Therefore, we max our retreat participants at 8 people with our ideal group size being 4-6 people.

  • Deep Breath Healing LLC reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, but will not cancel a retreat less than 60 days before departure except for unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside of Deep Breath Healing LLC control.

    Cancellation by Participant: Please be sure you want to attend. While we understand that life happens, we cannot refund or transfer any deposits for our retreats. Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc), but we have costs already incurred when reserving retreat centers and excursions. In order to protect yourself, purchase travel insurance prior to your trip.

    Cancellation by Deep Breath Healing LLC: We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure, due to natural disasters, terrorism, political instability, COVID-19, or other external events that make it no longer viable to operate the planned retreat. If your trip is canceled, we will notify you immediately and provide instructions for the next steps. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, credits will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to vaccinations, travel insurance, or non-refundable flights.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Please wait to book your airline ticket until the retreat has been confirmed with the minimum number of participants. You will be notified via email. A minimum number of participants is required in order for the retreat to run. In the event that we cancel a retreat due to an insufficient number of participants, you will be credited all retreat costs paid to Deep Breath Healing LLC. To help you recover any potential losses, we strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking.
